Planning ahead for February 12, 2015

Okay. So for all of you who have been sitting around on your sofa with your cup of coffee just WONDERING what in the world I am going to be doing on February 12, 2015— here is my answer. (even if you’re like most people, and didn’t even think about it)

There is this awesome movement that has begun to spread like crazy!!! It’s called P.A.V.E, which stands for People Against Violent Examples. And for a whole day, people across the globe are not watching any violence that whole day. I’m going to support this great cause. Do you want to join me?

This means for one day: Put those violent video games away. Turn off those violent movies, and don’t watch violence on the computer. And for heaven’s sakes, get violent behaviors out of your life too.

Now, even if the whole world isn’t doing it, does that mean you shouldn’t? As I learned a long time ago, “Stand up for what is right, even if you’re the only one standing.” So, there goes that excuse. Even if there’s just a few of us. We’ll do it and we’ll make a difference one of these days.

So what will YOU be doing on February 12th?  I sure hope it’s not watching violence. If you care to share, drop a note down below.

You should totally check out their Facebook page when you get a second, and I don’t mean when you’re done procrastinating. Don’t delay 🙂

Here it is: https://www.facebook.com/PavePeace

Thank you so much y’all, and I hope you join in on February 12th of next year and take a stand against violent viewing!!!!!

  1. Paving the way to peace sounds nice. This whole world has fallen into greed and violence. It will be nice to devote a day without violence. Its too bad the whole world cant see the direction they are heading. Ill totally follow ur lead and join this movement .

  2. Great blog! I’m joining in on Feb. 12 also. It’s such a great cause – get peace back into our lives. Our society has gone so far downhill, it amazes me sometimes what I see. It makes me want to do everything I can to change things for the better so the next generation can have it better than we do now.

  3. I will definitely be partaking in this profound movement! I cannot help but feel reminded and inspired by Mahatma Gandhi. “If we could change ourselves, the tendencies in the world would also change. As a man changes his own nature, so does the attitude of the world change towards him…” PERFECTION. Thanks for sharing this!
